2008年6月取得博士学位。2009年12月晋升为副教授，2013年12月晋升为教授。2013年度广东省高校优秀青年培养对象，广东省高校第六批"千百十工程"校级培养对象。 2009年度江门市“青年科技标兵”。主持国家自然科学基金一项，广东省自然科学基金四项，广东省教育厅科研项目三项、广东省教育厅教学质量工程项目一项、广东省课程思政示范教学团队项目一项。参与国家自然科学基金面上项目及国际合作科研项目、教育部博士点基金及广东省自然科学基金10多项。
