About the Speaker:

Xie Jiaxin is a lecturer at Wuyi University (WYU), with a bachelor's degree from Sun Yat-sen University and a master's degree from Columbia University. As a faculty member at WYU for 11 years, she has taught dozens of courses to English majors including students majoring in Business English, English Literature and Linguistics, and English Teaching, non-English majors and international students learning Chinese culture. She has accumulated a wealth of teaching experiences, and her teaching achievements have been widely recognized. The awards she has won are as follows:

·National and Guangdong Provincial Special Prize of the Buisness English group, The 15th SFLEP National Foreign Language Teaching Contest

·Special Prize of the Buisness English group, The 1st "Zhongyu Cup" National College Internet+ English Teaching Contest

·Second Prize of the Higher Education Micro Course Group, Guangdong Computer Education Software Competition
