Wuyi University Library is the largest library and information centre in Wuyi, Jiangmen.It was built in 1985 with a total floor area of 24,000 square metres.
The ground floor of the library is distributed with intensive book stacks; the second to the eighth floors are laid out according to the professional subject libraries and study spaces, adopting the lending mode of large circulation, with the integration of collection, borrowing and reading, 2,600 reading seats, 30 independent seminar rooms, and a comfortable reading environment.
As of June 2022, the library has a paper collection of 2,070,000 books, 1,530,000 e-books, and 19 types of electronic resource libraries.The library has formed a comprehensive collection resource system covering natural sciences, engineering and technology sciences, humanities and social sciences, management sciences, art sciences and other multidisciplinary subjects, which provides essential documentary resources for the study, research and personal development of all the students and teachers of the university.

Attention
The library is a key fire prevention unit. Smoking and fire are strictly prohibited anywhere in the library (including washrooms and hallways).
WiFi: Connecting to the wireless network WYUNET-STUDENT and logging in, the whole library can be connected to the Internet wirelessly.
Seat Distribution: distributed in each reading room.The library has more than 2600 seats for self-study.
Self-service borrowing and returning: There are two self-service borrowing and returning machines in the hall on the first floor, students can borrow and return books by themselves.
Drinking water: There is a pantry next to the lift room on each floor.
Washroom: Behind the lift room on each floor.
Shared Umbrellas: Students can borrow umbrellas at the service desk with their campus cards.
First-aid kit: First-aid kits are available at the service desk and in the reading room and study rooms on each floor, which students can take by themselves.

Foreign teachers can go to the main service counter of the library with their work permit and campus IC card to complete the relevant formalities and pay a deposit of RMB 300 yuan at the Wuyi University Sub-branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, and then go to the main service counter of the library to open the service with the receipt of the bill of entry, student ID card and IC card.
International students: You can bring your student ID card and campus IC card to the main service counter of the library to complete the relevant procedures and pay a deposit of RMB 300 yuan at the Wuyi University branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, and then bring the receipt of incoming bills, your student ID card and IC card to the main service counter of the library to activate the use of the library.
Book Lending and Returning
Check the "Library Bibliography System". If you want to borrow a book, please write down the "request number" of the book and look for it in the library.
If you want to borrow a book, please note down the book "request number" and look for the book in the collection.
Undergraduate students can borrow a maximum of 10 books, and each book can be borrowed for 60 days.The maximum number of books for graduate students is 15, and the loan period for each book is 60 days.
Each borrowed book can be renewed once and the loan period will be increased by 30 days.

Returning Books
● Please return books before they are due to avoid overdue returns.
Books that are due during the summer and winter holidays can be delayed until two weeks after the start of the school year.
