To enhance students' understanding of partner institutions and to build up their confidence in overseas studies, the school organized a "2+2" joint program seminar on the morning of September 19th. The school invited David Smith, former deputy dean of the School of Business and Law at the University of Portsmouth in the UK, to give a presentation. Luan Tiangang, Chancellor of the University, participated in the event and delivered a speech, in which he warmly welcomed the delegation from the University of Portsmouth and pointed out that launching the "2+2" Sino-foreign joint undergraduate program with well-known foreign universities is a solid step forward for the university in promoting high-level opening up and enhancing the level of international education. He hopes that students will love their motherland, think globally, make the most of their youth, and achieve academic success.
