Winter Holiday Safety Reminders for International Students

Dear international students,

The winter holiday is coming!

We would like to remind you of the following safety precautions for your safety during the holiday, whether traveling or staying at school:


Winter holiday arrangements

Winter Holiday

The winter holiday is from January 19th to February 20th. Students should return to school for registration on February 21st, and the formal classes will start on February 24th.

Notice on Meal Arrangements during the 2025 Winter Holiday

1. The first floor of the No.1 Student Canteen will remain open throughout the winter holiday.

2. The No.2 Student Canteen, No.3 Student Canteen, and No.4 Student Canteen will stop serving meals after lunch on January 20, 2025. They will resume service at noon on February 20, 2025. In case of any new changes to the meal service arrangements, further notice will be given.

Notice on the Opening Arrangements of Sports Venues during the 2025 Winter Vacation

1. Closing time of indoor venues and swimming pools during the Spring Festival: from January 27 to February 5.

2. Closing time of outdoor fields during the Spring Festival: from January 28 to January 31.


Safety reminders

Please abide by all traffic regulations and pay close attention to traffic safety. You can not be over-speed or overload when you ride battery-operated vehicles and wearing a helmet.If riding a bicycle, do not go against traffic or run red lights.

During the holiday, there are a lot of people and cars in cities in China, so pay attention to traffic safety when going out.

Don't drink to excess. Avoid violence or unnecessary conflicts.Do nottravel with strangers.Do not accept foodor drinks from strangers.It is advisable to travel with your friends.

Do not carry a lot of cash when going out. Make sure you close the window and lock the door before you leave.

Please abide by the accommodation regulations and rules.No smoking in the dormitory buildings.It is not allowed to make unauthorized wire connections or use high-power electrical appliances in the dormitories.Take precautions when using electricity and prevent fire hazards.

Do not give your dorm keys to others or let visitors stay overnight.

Please minimize noise nuisance and try not to disturb others. No binge drinking on campus and fighting with others.

Keep away from drugs.

It is not allowed to be engaged in any business or other commercial activities.

It is not allowed to be engaged in anymissionary and religious gatherings on campus.

Do not organize or participate in parades,signing events or any high-risk activities.

Do not reveal your name, passport number, bank card number, password of Internet account, QR code or other privacy.

Be alert of financial fraud. Government departments, public security bureaus and banks will never request for money transfer by phone, message or Email. Fraud may come by various means, students should be very careful. If you have any questions, please call 110 in time.
