 Brief Introduction to FAO

 

Wuyi University’s Foreign Affairs Office

   Wuyi University’s Foreign Affairs Office (FAO) is a functional organization, under the direct leadership of the president in charge, responsible for schoolwork related to foreign affairs. It is designed to deal with all schoolwork of foreign affairs, i. e.  bears double duty of strictly following foreign policy and foreign affairs management. Specifically speaking, FAO is to manage, guide, coordination and provide service for any foreign-related work in the school. Director of FAO is Mr. ZHENG Changchun. FAO consists of General Affairs, International Exchange and International Students Education sections. Every section is to work in coordination with other sections. Their duties are as  follows:

Duty of General Affairs Section

1.       Be responsible for the coordination , reception work and counting up the  donations from the overseas Chinese, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

2.       Go through the formalities or procedures for WYU faculty members sent abroad by WYU.

3.       Make out plans and apply for the approval of the plan to employ both long- term and short-term foreign experts; manage their routine work; arrange for their  visa, residence, extension, and credential renewal.

4.       Be responsible for writing and their logistic work of FAO.

5.       Sort out archives and documents of FAO.
